Adam Schneider, JD

Navvis

Adam Schneider is a seasoned and innovative legal expert with a wealth of specialized experience in navigating the complex landscape of the healthcare industry. As the General Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Chief Compliance Officer at Navvis, he is responsible for all legal work including transactions, client agreements, structuring of services and solutions, network participation agreements, insurance coverages and claims, labor and employment, and capital raises. He also founded and leads the Navvis Compliance Department where he oversees all compliance activities.  Adam has a deep understanding of the business objectives of Navvis and takes new approaches to issues that health systems, physician organizations, and payers face.

Prior to his current role, Adam was Senior Counsel at BJC Healthcare, one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States where he provided counsel on transactions, deal structuring, antitrust issues, and routinely advised on innovative solutions to drive efficiencies in care delivery. Adam provided significant legal and strategic support to BJC’s Medical Group, made up of more than 600 employed providers. Adam was also the primary legal support for the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College.

Before joining BJC Healthcare, Adam worked in the Washington, DC office of the global law firm Dentons, where he advised on significant M&A transactions and provided guidance on health care fraud and abuse laws including Stark and AKS.

Adam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis, a Juris Doctorate with a focus in healthcare law from Saint Louis University, and an MHA from Webster University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
